A Paleo lifestyle should be high in fat, moderate in animal protein and
low to moderate in carbohydrates.

enjoy a “fattier” cut of meat
olive oil, beef tallow, lard and coconut oil are all good choices that should
be used in cooking and drizzling over foods and salads
and fruits should be enjoyed in moderate portions. Fruit choices should include
berries which are lower in sugar and nuts such as almonds and macadamia nuts
and or frozen vegetables should be enjoyed in generous portions. You may consume cooked or raw veggies. Starchy vegetables including sweet potatoes
are an excellent source of healthy carbohydrates.
